Anusha Malhotra of class VIII and Nitya Bansal of class VII made the school proud by winning the prestigious Bournvita Quiz Contest, held in Kolkata, in January2012. They were selected to represent Delhi at the National Round. 12 lakh students had participated in the city round, out of which BVN was among the 27 schools that made it to the final round. The girls won the final contest with ease, defeating St John\'s Chandigarh.  Their performance was exceptional.

Pranav Malhotra of class IX participated in the ITM University ‘All India Super Series Tennis Championship 2012’, held from 9th to 13th January’12, in Gwalior. Pranav was the winner in Boys U-16 Doubles and Runner up in Boys U-16 Singles.

In Badminton, Junior Boys participated in the CBSE National Games held at DPS Dhanbad and secured the fourth position.  The team comprised – Pranav Khattar, Kirat Singh, Madhav Sarin and Shrey Bagroy. 

BVN was the venue for Western Dance Choreography Competition organized by the TOI, NIE. BVN students performed wonderfully and were selected for the finals where they won the third prize as well as the prize for best choreography. The team members were awarded trophies, certificates, gift vouchers for ‘Adventure Park’ and cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- .The team comprised: Aishwarya Munjal-XI, Anmol Bhatnagar-XI, Ashwarya Shukla-XI, Shraddha Khemani-XI, Mansha Mahajan-XI, Pallavi Pandu-XI, G. Ananya-X, Kanika Parwal-X, Vrinda Gajral-IX, Sarika Batra-IX, Drishti Arora-VIII, Harshita Diddee-VII. Riya Kulkarni and Mahima Jaju were chosen as the emcees for the show and won great appreciation and were awarded Rs.1000 each for making the show vibrant and lively.

Vaishali Bajaj of class XI F excelled as the school topper with 99.3% at the International Commerce Olympiad conducted by Commerce Teacher\'s Association.
