House System & Student’s Council
The Student’s Council has the responsibility of maintaining school discipline. The Council consists of the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains and Prefects. An Office bearer needs to show academic brilliance, sense of responsibility, leadership qualities, initiative, self-discipline, exemplary code of conduct and high moral character. Students are grouped in six houses viz. Annapurna, Aravalli, Dhaulagiri, Kailash, Nilgiri and Vindhya to create a healthy competitive environment among the students. Each House is headed by the Captain and Prefects. A member of the teaching staff is the in-charge of a particular house. He / she, called the House Master / Mistress, leads the house with the help of the teachers belonging to the corresponding house. Inter House competitions and activities are held throughout the year which help students to achieve high standards of excellence. A running trophy is awarded to House which gains maximum points in that year. |
